Trick-Or-Canned Foods

This Halloween for "The Garage Youth Church" was a little different than most. It was a holiday spent on something other than us. See I don't think there is anything innately wrong with Halloween. Some say that it was created out of some pagan holiday, but most people today have no idea where it came from, we just dress up and go outside. So, my high school students and I strapped on the costumes and went out in search of canned foods. It was amazing to see the peoples faces light up when we told them that we didn't want candy, but food. It's small, but another lesson in "being the message" to the world!
